PARTY ET CIE EVENTS - A CUTE KAWAII PARTY
My daughter as of late has been obsessed with "all things cute." From her Hello Kitty notebook, to Pusheen plushy, to squishmallows..she wants them all. Kawaii, a Japanese word which translates to "cute" in English, has taken over a whole new meaning in the Western World. Anything that is cute, or more specifically, has cute faces on them fits into the genre of "Kawaii." After searching for Kawaii Party content, of which there was very little, I decided to take on the challenge of styling a Kawaii Party for my daughter's 9th birthday. And yes, the theme was approved by my daughter!
DIY - CUTE KAWAII CANDY KEYCHAINS
My daughter's 9th birthday is coming up and boy do we both love a craft party! But are 9 year olds into toilet paper and pipe cleaner crafts still? I decided to raise my party crafting game with something a little more hi brow for her and her friends and these Cute Kawaii Candy Keychains do just the trick! A cute craft AND take home favor all in one!
DIY - PARTY SHAKER INVITATIONS
Nothing builds excitement as much as receiving a party invitation. This Party Shaker Invitation glow-up can transform any plain paper invitation into a fun and interactive invite by adding some easy, fun and lively little details!
PARTY ET CIE EVENTS - A PASTEL CONVERSATION HEARTS PARTY
There is perhaps nothing as iconic for Valentine's Day as those chalky, not-great-tasting, candy conversation hearts. As ironic as this is, it has inspired us so much over the years, by way of parties, valentine cards and gifts.
We've taken it to the cutest level by throwing a party around this iconic candy!
PARTY ET CIE EVENTS - AN ARCTIC ANIMALS PARTY
Springtime is a very busy time of year, and people are looking towards outdoor get togethers and parties. We are just emerging from the cold and miserable pandemic winter and looking forward to warmer weather. Thus, I was humorously taken aback when I asked my daughter what she wanted for her birthday party theme, and she replied, "an arctic animals party!" Head over to this blog post to read all the adorable details!
PARTY ET CIE EVENTS - A MOTHER'S DAY PICNIC
We're celebrating Mom by throwing a brunch party with a bit of a twist! We are loving the idea of individual place settings and servings - we've seen it from mini champagne bottles, to a cupcake in a box, to individual mini charcuterie boards. We put together this adorable picnic brunch to celebrate Mom - picnic style!
PARTY ET CIE EVENTS - TERRAZZO - A MODERN GIRL'S PARTY
Truth: I have been dying to do a Terrazzo themed party for a while now. It's making a comeback in interior design (did it ever really go away?) and I love the fun color palettes that are intrinsic to the creation process. My sweet first baby was celebrating her 11th year around the sun, which in my books makes her officially a pre-teen. Gone now are the days of unicorns and princesses, so I wanted to throw her a party that was "mature" yet still playful, colorful and fun. This was the perfect year to throw a Terrazzo party!
