PARTY ET CIE EVENTS - A GIRL POWER PARTY
We had such a tremendous response to our Girl Power Party which we posted in our Stories last weekend, that we decided to do a quick blog post about it with all the details and pictures!
The Invitation
Our client loved the Daydream Society Love Notes plates, and used this as a jumping point for the overall design of the party. The use of the cute and fun motifs was carried over into the invitation:

The Placesetting
With the Daydream Society Love Notes plates as the focus of the placesetting, we picked the pink and gold tones for a cohesive feel. We used our MeriMeri Gold Confetti large plates as a base, our Oh Happy Day Neon Rose Stripes dinner napkins and Rose Neon Ombre cups, and added gold foil straws and our own gold metal cutlery to complete the look.
The Centerpiece
We love creating a fun center table focus and decided to play again on the fun elements of the Love Notes plates and used 4" magenta heart and 4" gold star foil balloons. We scattered our Flamingo Pink Party Confetti on the table, and used shreds of iridescent cellophane and some silver disco ball ornaments to add some glitter and shine.
Hanging Decor
We decided to install a fun hanging display over the table and used our 27.5" Magenta Foil Starburst balloons. We added some iridescent cellophane strips to these balloons for added "burst" effect. These were such an unprecedented hit that our client decided to leave them hanging indefinitely above her dining room table!
The Cake
The client picked a simple vanilla buttercream chocolate cake topped with sprinkles from Bobbette and Belle. We added our MeriMeri Fancy Fringes Party Sticks which made for a statement cake topper!
For the dessert table, we created a custom magenta glitter name banner, and a mixed pink balloon banner. The party activities (all the client's idea here!) included a magenta foil fringe-backed photobooth where the girls took Instax photos with the birthday girl and her homemade photo props. And later accompanied with a slice of cake, the girls created photo collages with pompoms, stickers, beads and markers, which became their take-home gift!
